DISC GOLF

The Keweenaw offers several disc golf courses located in beautiful scenic locations. Grab a friend (or three) and challenge your frisbee skills in this spin on the traditional game of golf. Funky golf wardrobe encouraged but not required.

What is Disc Golf?

Fun for the family and frisbee enthusiasts, the goal is to advance through "holes" with as few throws of the plastic frisbee disc. Instead of holes in the ground, participants aim to throw the disc into elevated baskets.

Where Can I Find Disc Golf Courses in the Keweenaw?

Visitors will find disc golf courses throughout the Keweenaw including the historic Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in Copper Harbor. Other courses are located on Michigan Tech's campus in Houghton, Lake Linden and at the Calumet Lions Park in Calumet.
