Enjoy greens and fairways set among the rustic and remote beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Between trail adventures and beach days, sneaking in a round or two of golf is a great way to disconnect and relax. The Keweenaw hosts four 9-hole courses and one 18-hole course plus a variety of non-traditional options like put-put, fling golf or disc golf.

Keweenaw Mountain Lodge

The golf course at the historic Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is an enjoyable 9-hole golf course designed using the Keweenaw terrain, with spectacular views of Brockway Mountain. With alternate tee boxes, the golf course offers an enjoyable and varied round of golf. Located in Copper Harbor, the Lodge offers on-site dining (by reservation only) and cart rentals. Visitors can also enjoy fling and disc golf! Best of all, the lack of cell service means no pesky work calls to throw you off your game.

Portage Lake Golf Course

The Portage Lake Golf Course, rated one of the top 18-hole courses in the Upper Peninsula by In Pursuit of 1000 Golf Courses, has 18 holes on 160 acres—providing two nines of distinctly different flavors and challenges. Located in Houghton on US-41, the course has a Par of 72 and features a bar and grill, pro shop, and cart and club rentals.

Sandy Pebbles Golf Course

Located in Ahmeek, this 9-hole course is about the experience of golfing in the rugged setting of the Keweenaw Peninsula. The course, which is accessed via Five Mile Point Road, totals about 2,800 yards. This is a no-frills course, and your tee-fee is paid using a coffee can. That's about as Keweenaw as it gets.

Calumet Golf Club

Just outside of the historic town of Calumet, the Calumet Golf Club is a public 9-holer with a pro shop and onsite dining.  Designed by Al Travis, the course was established in 1925 and has a driving range and practice greens. Word on the street is that Jazzy's Pub and Grille serves up some of the best chicken wings found in the Upper Peninsula.

Omer's Golf Course

A short drive from Twin Lakes State Park, Omer's Golf Course is 9-hole course that measures over 2,700 yards from the farthest tee.
