Waterfall Week in the Keweenaw

Chase Peak Waterfall Season

May 6–9, 2026

The Keweenaw doesn’t do spring quietly. Massive snowmelt turns into roaring waterfalls, roadside pull-offs become front-row views, and the woods wake up fast. Waterfall Week is your excuse to get here first, catch waterfalls at their peak and feel the spring energy of the Keweenaw. Go on guided hikes, hit local events and check in to an easy-to-follow waterfall trail.

Featured Waterfalls

Know before you go! The Keweenaw Waterfall Trail is your starting point for chasing spring’s biggest flows - but it’s just the beginning. Some local favorites aren’t on the digital passport due to limited cell service required for check-ins. Use our Waterfalls page to map out even more stops along your route for those extra photo-worthy moments, and always recreate responsibly in areas with little or no service.
