Haunted Hoist House: Fears and Phobias

The Quincy Mine Hoist House takes on a ghoulish new life with a haunted tour experience crafted by the Michigan Tech Theatre! Each fall the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Michigan Tech partners with the Quincy Mine Hoist Association to create a haunted experience for all ages, tickets required!

Creatures of the Night Hike

The Swedetown Trails Club invites families to a special guided hike! Make your own Halloween lantern to light your way along the trail. As you walk, keep an eye out for live nocturnal animals—and people dressed as them! These "animals" will share interesting facts about their lives and habitats and even hand out some treats. The hike will wrap up with Halloween-themed snacks for all.

FREE "Night of the Living Dead" Screening

This 1968 horror icon of the silver screen plays at the Orpheum Theater in Hancock, and is considered by some the godfather of the zombie movie genre, "Night of the Living Dead" is a deeply metaphorical film with progressive themes and casting - come revel in the dark mirror of today's society and the spooky pre-Halloween season! Doors and kitchen re-open at 6PM for pizza and beverages, movie begins at 8PM.
Can't make this screening? The Calumet Theatre will run a showing October 31st at 7PM.
