DesRochers Corn Maze

Oct. 10th & 17th | 8-10:30PM

Enter at your own risk. The Field of Terror at DesRochers Corn Maze is a terrifyingly fun event. Make your way through the maze at night, but watch out for the ghosts and ghouls who may try to surprise you along the way. This experience is not for the faint of heart... be prepared to get spooked!

Harvest Moon Night Market

Oct. 11th | 4-9PM

Under the golden glow of October’s moon, the Harvest Moon Night Market will transform the Downtown Calumet Greenspace into a mystical mix of indoor and outdoor vendor booths featuring local artists, authors, herbalists, farmers, and bakers. The evening will include live music, food trucks, and hands-on activities designed to delight visitors of all ages. You're invited to dress in witchy, woodland, or whimsical attire to fully immerse themselves in the charm of the evening!

Houghton's Treat Street

Oct. 17th | 6-8PM

Head to downtown Houghton for Treat Street, the annual mega trick-or-treating event that closes down Shelden Avenue! Kids can visit local businesses for candy, special events, and a Trunk-or-Treat!

Dollar Bay's Fall Family Fun Fest

Oct. 18th | 1-3PM

Fall Family Fun Fest brings Halloween fun to Dollar Bay’s Pioneer Park. Trunk-or-Treats, costume parade, cookie decorating, crafts and Halloween movies!

Haunted Experiences at the Quincy Mine Complex

Oct. 29-31 | 7-10PM

Each Halloween season, historic sites across the Quincy Mine complex take on a ghoulish new life with a haunted experience created by Michigan Tech Theatre! The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Michigan Tech partners with the Quincy Mine Hoist Association to transform the Quincy Hoist House, the mineshaft, or the Quincy Smelter with spooky stories, eerie settings and plenty of surprises for all ages. Tickets required!

Wolf's Head Film Festival

Oct. 22-24, 2026

Wolf's Head Film Festival brings an eclectic lineup of indie shorts, genre films, cult classics, filmmaker Q&As and special screenings to the historic Orpheum Theater, with plenty happening beyond the theater, too. VIPs can venture deep underground for an exclusive screening at Quincy Mine, while the weekend culminates in a Zombie Prom for festival-goers and community members with live music, a DJ, and costumes! Whether your idea of spooky fun is eerie, bizarre, campy, creepy or downright strange, there’s a film (and a party) waiting for you.

The Calumet Theatre's Annual Halloween Movie

Oct. 31st | 8PM

Make a night of Halloween at the historic Calumet Theatre with its annual Halloween movie screening! Settle into one of the Keweenaw’s most atmospheric theaters for a spooky night on the big screen, featuring a classic fright-night favorite and plenty of old-school Halloween fun. Grab your friends, wear your favorite costume and get ready for a little cinematic creepiness in one of the Copper Country’s grandest settings. See what's hitting the silver screen here!

Village of Laurium Trick-Or-Treat

Oct. 31st | 4-7PM

Halloween comes to Laurium with an old-fashioned evening of trick-or-treating around the village! Little ghosts, goblins and costumed creatures can make their rounds at participating homes, with porch lights glowing to welcome trick-or-treaters. After filling those candy bags, head to the Gipp for a warm bite and a little more Halloween cheer. A sweet, simple Copper Country tradition for the whole family. 👻🎃
