Jibba Jabba is ready to ignite downtown Houghton with one of the Midwest’s most electric professional snowboard events. Held annually in union with Valentine's Day, Pro/Am riders from across the region will hit a custom-built urban course packed with features, speed, and creativity — all dropping straight toward the Houghton Waterfront and across Lakeshore Drive.
Free to watch, Jibba Jabba is perfect for families, thrill-seekers, and anyone looking for a lively winter festival experience in the Keweenaw!

Think you can throw down with the pros? The Qualifier Event opens limited spots for local & visiting riders to compete on the same course as the pros.
Red Bull returns with their iconic party car with pumping speakers, and plenty of energy for riders and fans. Their fan-favorite Best Stomp trick category is back — rewarding the night’s most flawless, hardest-hitting landing. When you hear the crowd explode, you’ll know someone stomped gold. Whichever rider hits the Best Stomp goes home with $1,000 plus a chance to win overall Men's or Women's which both take home another $2,000. If someone wins both they have a chance to take home $3,000!

Red Bull on site and LIVE in the Keweenaw— right in the center of the action!
Jibba Jabba isn’t just hitting Huron Street this year — it’s spilling into all of downtown. Shops, cafés, and hangouts are rolling out specials, pop-ups, late nights, and all kinds of Jibba-themed mischief that turn Houghton into a full winter block party.
Then comes the main event: the roar of the crowd, boards flying, and Huron Street transformed into the peninsula’s loudest snow-packed runway. Stake out your spot from the hill to the pier, snap a selfie at the Jibba Jabba frame, snag some Red Bull swag, and refuel with on-site eats!
